Glow Skin Society was started because most K-beauty content online is either written by people who've never used the products, or paid for by the brands being reviewed. We wanted something different: honest, ingredient-led reviews from someone who actually lives and breathes K-beauty every day.

K-beauty obsessive, skincare researcher, and local of Waimanalo on the windward side of Oahu. I started Glow Skin Society to share the honest K-beauty knowledge I spent years building — because good skin shouldn't require a $300 moisturizer or a PR contact.
I got into Korean skincare after struggling with dry, reactive skin that nothing Western seemed to fix. The K-beauty philosophy — strengthen the barrier first, treat concerns second — changed how I thought about skincare entirely. Three years later I've tested over 200 K-beauty products and I'm still learning.
Glow Skin Society is based in Waimanalo, Oahu, Hawaii. Living in a tropical climate with high UV exposure means SPF, hydration, and barrier care aren't optional — they're daily necessities. That real-world context shapes every review we write.
